success of Little
Red
Riding Hood, Neil and
Tina have returned to
produce this
lively and fun pantomime. Written
by Dave
Jeanes and
published by the
local Lazy
Bee scripts the
Panto
follows all the usual
Panto traditions with gags a
plenty.
Aladdin is
in love with the
Empresses daughter So Shi,
yet there is a
problem as
anyone who sees
the Princesses face is
executed.
Aladdin needs to
be rich and through
his
estranged Uncle
‘arry Baxter or is it Have a
Banana? Sorry I meant Abanazar, the dame
and
Emperor has the same
problem, he gains
a strange friend, can he be
trusted?
Aladdin
finds an old lamp and
The Genie attempts to
save
the day, yet
Abanazar
tries to steal the glory
for himself. With
Widow
Twankey
following close by calamity is never far
behind. Whilst
Twankey is trying to save poor
Aladdin from the
noose, her son is busy
inventing the cheese less
mouse trap
and the electric dark
bulb!
With a
cast
of over 35
children the
numbers are big and
colourful. The Ages of the
cast range from 8-18 so fun is guaranteed
for
all the
family.
This
Production is free for the Gantry
Youth Members,
who qualify through an audition
process and will
be the
first
of two major
productions
this academic year.

of 2009, The

Comedy of Macbeth,
